Last Thursday, October 29th, 2025, my domain, macpherson.photography, was transferred to my hosting service (GoDaddy). I wanted to use the subdomain paul, but my previous service provider did not support that feature.
Now I have a unified social media presence, I am paul.macpherson.photography here and on all my platforms.
I generated a QR code that sends people to my contact page on this website. So when I am out taking pictures and someone wants a copy of a particular image, I can easily have them email me or message me on one of my social media accounts. This way, the onus is on them, not me, to reach out, and it is a simple reply for me to get them the image.
I was introduced to this approach by Brian Ducket at one of his Street Snappers Workshops. I highly recommend it; I learned a lot, and it was/is a strong influence on my work.
